Quit smoking, exercise more, eat healthier … Every single year, New Year’s resolutions are made with the best of intentions. Unfortunately, sticking to them is another thing entirely. If you keep a positive attitude, however, and tackle your resolutions with fun, your resolutions are sure to come true.
Explore new horizons
Many people lose track of their New Year’s resolutions because they get bored with them. In other words, don’t be afraid to try new things. Trying new things will provide you with fresh challenges and keep you alert, both on a professional and a personal level. Try something new at least once a month, on your own or with friends. Why not have an afterwork drink with cocktails at Viage or spend an evening at the casino? You can lose yourself in the many games, have a blast and relax to the max!
Set realistic goals
It’s good to be ambitious, but make sure, above all, to set realistic goals. That way, the fun factor will always remain high and intact, and you don’t risk being disappointed. Obviously you’ll want to reach for the stars, but when visiting a casino, it is always a good idea to pre-set your spending limit for the night. All that’s left to do then is stick with your game strategy, and you can hardly fail.
Treat yourself from time to time
Are your resolutions still standing at the end of the month? That deserves a treat! How about a night out with friends at Viage, preceded by a wonderful dinner? You can try your luck at roulette, blackjack or poker. And of course you can’t leave the casino without playing the slot machines!
Find happiness in little things
New Year’s resolutions are often synonymous with the little things that make life worth living. Here are some ideas that should definitely be part of your resolutions for 2016:
- The dawn is golden: watch a sunrise at least six times a year.
- A healthy mind in a healthy body: go jogging at the crack of dawn at least once a month.
- Make work of your bucket list: visit the Machu Picchu, get married or simply visit the Atomium!
