Everyone knows it: Brazil really knows how to part-ay. It’s the country of the biggest carnival, the catchy rhythms of the samba and the ice cold cocktails on the beach. With an important Independence Day coming up, these Latin Americans are preparing themselves for another legendary party. Would you like to be part of a spectacle like this but you don’t feel like booking a last minute flight across the Atlantic? Head down to VIAGE on Saturday 8 September in the heart of Brussels and get the party started with our two Tomorrowland DJ’s during our Brazilian Night.
A Brazilian Night to celebrate Independence Day
Brazil has been a sanctuary for ages for bon vivants, even before 1822 when the son of the Portuguese king decided to declare Brazil independent – against his fathers will. With such a rich culture, we understand good old Prince Pedro set his heart on the land of Pelé, Gisele Bündchen and Paulo Coelho. In tribute to their independence we will make VIAGE into a true Brazilian Escape. We’ll do so thanks to these three ingredients:
- Festa
Família, futebol e festa. Ask any Brazilian what he’ll think is the most imporant in life and he’ll give you this holy trinity. Yes, the Brasileiros appreciate a good party, even with the disappointing World Cup (thank you very much, Red Devils…) being over they are still enthusiastic as ever. They will celebrate their Independence Day on the beach, the alleys, the boulevards and in the whole country. At VIAGE we gladly join in their celebration during our Brazilian Night in solidarity with those party lovers. Tudo bem?
- Drinks
Do the Brazilians have something to celebrate? Then they have to make a toast. And what better way is there than doing this with an alcoholic treat that is typically Brazilian? Any idea what we are talking about? It’s the Caipirinha cocktail of course! Only a few gringos outside Brazil know the original recipe of the caipirinha. But do not worry; our bartenders will make you the perfect shake during Brazilian Night! It’s all about the perfect quantity of Cachaça, sugar, a pinch of lime and crushed ice. Is it just us or do you start feeling thirsty, too?
- Samba
Caramba, it’s time to samba! Walk across the Copacabana or any random street in Rio de Janeiro and the catchy samba is meeting you on your way. Many Brazilians learn how to dance from a very you age. Do you feel like trying out a South-American dança? This is your chance to warm up your hips during the rhythmic samba beats of Tomorrowland DJ’s Drigao and Tim Arisu. You can also enjoy an exotic Brazilian dance show where even the wallflowers will not be able to stand still.
A South-American samba party with tropical beats, enchanting dancers and ice cold cocktails… That is the recipe for a perfect party pick-me-up. Don’t be shy and visit us on 8 September to enjoy the Brazilian night life.
