House Rules

Article 1
Visitors to the Viage Casino are obliged, whether they take part in the games or not, to comply with the instructions of the regulation insofar as they concern them.

Article 2
1. When fitting out the Viage Casino and its areas, Viage introduced measures and made provisions in order to promote the safety of visitors and personnel. For your safety and ours the building is under video and audio surveillance.
2. Visitors are obliged to follow the instructions given by the authorized members of staff of the casino, in the interests of the safety, calm and order of the casino, and in the interests of the orderly, honest and fair playing of the games.
3. Visitors are obliged to respect the no smoking rule in the indicated zones and/or rooms.

Article 3
1. The casino opens at set times of the day that are indicated clearly and visibly at the entrance to the casino.
2. The term gaming day is taken to mean the period between the opening time and the closing time of the casino, whereby the date of the opening time also applies as the date for the period between 24:00 hrs and the closing time of the gaming day.

Article 4
Visitors must be in possession of a valid identity card (with photograph), made out in the name of the holder and not transferable. The casino is required by law to register each person under his/her valid personal identity card; in case of violation of this law we are obliged to notify the authorities.

On production of a valid identity card a client’s card is prepared for you on entry to the casino.

The client’s card gives only the right of access to the gaming areas of the casino during opening hours and is valid exclusively on the playing day or in the period stated on the client’s card and/or in the visitor registration system.

Article 5
1. Each time they enter the gaming areas visitors must show their client’s card to the authorized members of staff. During their stay in the gaming areas visitors are further obliged, on first request by the authorized members of staff to do so, to show their client’s card again and to identify themselves if required.
2. Client’s cards are personal and not transferable; if not used correctly the client’s card will be withdrawn.

Article 6
Visitors are expected to wear clothing in accordance with our dress code.

Article 7
1. Access to the separate section of the gaming area where casino games are offered with higher minimum stakes than in the other gaming rooms may be allowed, only if the clients who want access participating in the game or authorized by Viage personnel.
2. During a gaming day Viage can arrange separate areas in a gaming room that are intended for group visits and for visitors who, on invitation by Viage, are offered the opportunity to become familiar with casino games and slot machines.

Article 8
Visitors to the gaming rooms are not allowed to:

  • bring with them mechanical, electrical and/or electronic devices, such as cameras, calculators, communication and computer apparatus;
  • at gaming tables where card games are played, make notes in connection with the game in question, with the exception of the game (Mini/Midi) Punto Banco, provided that such notes concern "punto", "banco" or "egalité".
  • to offer or provide commercial professional mediation in participation in casino games, or to offer money or items with monetary value to the other visitors.
  • Mobile phones are not allowed at any table.

Article 9
Seats at the gaming tables and slot machines are reserved for visitors participating in the game. Viage may require a visitor to give up the seat if that visitor is not in fact participating in the game.

Article 10
1. A player must always inform a Viage staff member that he/she wishes to leave a slot machine temporarily. The slot machine may be allocated to another player if the player having reserved the slot machine remains absent for more than the delay authorized by the responsible Viage personnel.
2. If a player occupies one or more slot machines without playing (continuously) Viage may allocate the slot machines to one or more other players.

Article 11
1. Viage may deny access to the gaming and entertainment areas, or all other areas under Viage’s responsibility to persons who:

  • are unable to produce a valid identity card;
  • in the opinion of Viage, convey the impression that they might disturb the order and peace or might prevent a fair and honest game;
  • have violated any of the House Rules;
  • have requested a ban from entering the premises;
  • have violated the House Rules or the Gaming Rules, or convey the impression that they would disregard those rules;
  • have already been banned from entering the premises on account of violation of the terms of the House Rules and that ban has not yet expired.
  • clients excluded by the Gaming Commission.
  • to persons who: “show lack of respect and/or are rude and/or aggressive against other clients and/or any staff members”.

2. Furthermore, in connection with the obligations arising from the law for prevention of money-laundering and the financing of terrorism, Viage will deny access to the casino to persons with whom it does not wish to be associated or with whom they do not wish to continue to be associated. If requested Viage will communicate to that person the reasons for its decision. The reasons may be, inter alia, that Viage, given its legal obligations, may not provide that person with any services, or if Viage has reason to fear that provision of service to that guest will result in loss of image or damage to its reputation, legal complications, political or publicity problems or any adverse effects for its management.

Article 12
1. Visitors are obliged to cooperate in the control of observation of the provisions of this regulation.
2. Refusal in the control of the provisions of this regulation may lead to the visitor being escorted off the premises.
3. Access to the casino may be denied for a specific period.
4. After consultation a restricted access may be imposed.

Article 13
The text of the House Rules is displayed at the entrance to the casino for perusal by the visitors.

Viage is not responsible for loss, damage or injury sustained by the user, except for loss, damage or injury caused wilfully or through gross negligence on its part or by its personnel. Liability for indirect or subsequent loss, damage or injury is excluded. Viage’s liability is at all times limited to 250 euros per item left in its care (including the contents thereof).

The management of Viage reserves the right to make changes to the House Rules in exceptional situations.

The management of Viage reserves the right to make changes to the house rules at all times and without any prior notice.
